You are both an actress and the lead producer of the Seret Film Festival. How do these two roles complement each other?
I see storytelling as the heart of both acting and producing. As an actress, I bring characters to life; as a producer, I help bring entire films to audiences. The two roles feed into each other, giving me a deeper appreciation of the creative process.
What excites you most about this year’s Seret Film Festival?
This year’s lineup is truly special—we’re showcasing films that are bold, thought-provoking, and deeply moving. I’m especially excited about the discussions and connections that will come from bringing these films to international audiences.
How do you choose the films for the festival?
We look for films that push boundaries, spark conversation, and reflect the depth and diversity of Israeli cinema. The selection process is a mix of artistic vision, storytelling strength, and relevance to today’s world.

What are some of the challenges of producing an international film festival?
Coordinating screenings, managing logistics, and ensuring that each film gets the attention it deserves—it’s a huge task. But the biggest challenge is also the most rewarding: bringing Israeli cinema to new audiences and seeing their reactions.
How has your perspective as an actress changed over the years?
When you’re starting out, there’s often a sense of urgency—you want every role, every opportunity, and you’re constantly proving yourself. Over time, you learn to trust the process. Experience brings confidence, and you start choosing projects that truly resonate with you rather than just chasing the next gig. There’s also a shift in focus from simply performing to understanding the broader impact of storytelling.
As an actress, is there a role or genre you’ve always wanted to explore?
I love roles that challenge me emotionally and intellectually. I’d love to take on a complex, layered character in a psychological thriller or a historical drama.
What’s next for you—both as an actress and as a producer?
I’m currently working on some exciting projects, both in front of and behind the camera. And of course, I’m already thinking ahead to next year’s festival and how we can make it even bigger and better!
What advice would you give to actors just starting out?
First, be patient. This industry is full of ups and downs, and success rarely happens overnight. Second, never stop learning—whether it’s through acting classes, observing great performances, or simply experiencing life. The more depth you bring as a person, the more depth you bring to your characters. Lastly, build genuine relationships. Networking isn’t just about connections—it’s about finding collaborators who inspire and challenge you.
