About the film
In the famously fertile nation of Israel, three childfree women face the challenging task of explaining their life choices to their mothers. In a unique twist, they swap seats and meet each other's mothers for intimate, heart-to-heart conversations. Through these honest, cross-generational exchanges, both daughters and mothers are able to truly listen to one another, bridging the gap and paving the way for mutual understanding and acceptance.

MEET THE director
Dr. Zaki is a Grierson award-winning filmmaker known for her signature cinematic style. Her acclaimed films, Women in Sink and Unsettling, have been screened at major festivals like CPH:DOX, IDFA, AFI Docs, Karlovy Vary, and BFI, winning prestigious awards and featuring on TV and NY Times’, attracting millions of viewers. Iris holds a PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London, where she developed her innovative Abandoned Camera technique She is also an award-winning lecturer at Sapir College, where she teaches documentary filmmaking to both BA and MA students, and she delivers masterclasses across Europe and USA
