About the film
"Cabaret Total" tells the story of Asi, a young man who returns from reserve duty during wartime and stages a cabaret show that becomes a sensation in a small town in southern Israel.
The film received an honorable mention at the Mar del Plata Film Festival in Argentina, won two awards from the Israeli Academy of Film and Television, the Artistic Achievement Award at the Haifa Film Festival, and the Cinema Award from the Ministry of Culture, which was presented to Roy Assaf.
The film received exceptional reviews and was hailed by some critics as a masterpiece.

Ornella Bess is an actress of French origin who lived in Israel for ten years. She trained in Paris at the Cours Florent and went on to act in a variety of plays, TV shows and films. She moved to Israel in 2013 and began learning Hebrew while performing in English. Before taking part in the film ‘cabaret Total’, she worked with Erez Tadmor in ‘Children of nobody’ and in Tom Shoval's series ‘The Echo of your Voice’.
